The University of Mississippi Fencing Club is hosting the Electric Mayhem, our annual Fall foil and epee tournament, on October 23, 1999.

The foil competition will begin at 9:00 AM with on site registration and check in closing at 8:45 AM. The epee competition will begin at approximately 2:00 PM, with late registration and check in closing at 1:45 PM.

Each competition will be a novice and open competition combined. Novices are defined as having less than two years of fencing experience, and are unranked in any weapon, and have never won a USFA sanctioned competition. All fencers will compete together in a 5 touch pool round. The novices will be seeded to the novice direct eliminations based on their results from the pools. The open direct elimination will be seeded from the same pools. Novices may opt to compete in the open direct eliminations as well as the novice direct eliminations. Any novice who finishes in the top eight overall automatically makes it to the top eight in the novice competition.

Pre-registration is encouraged. Pre-registration is $10 for one weapon and $15 for two weapons. A late registration fee of $5.00 will be added for those who register at the door.
